Questions, answered.
How is Signed so much cheaper than DocuSign?+
DocuSign Business Pro is $45 per seat/mo on an annual commitment — and even that caps you at 100 envelopes per user per year. Signed is $9.99 a seat with unlimited documents on any plan. We rebuilt the e-signature features people actually use and run lean, so the savings go to you.
Is it really free to sign a PDF?+
Yes — free forever, with no account and no sign-up wall at download. The free tool runs entirely in your browser, so your document never leaves your device. You only ever pay to send documents to other people for signature.
Are the signatures legally binding?+
Yes. Signatures you send with Signed comply with the U.S. ESIGN Act and UETA. Every completed document carries a tamper-evident audit trail and a Certificate of Completion showing who signed, when, and from where.
Do signers need an account?+
No. Recipients sign from an emailed link in any browser — nothing to install and no sign-up. Only the person sending documents needs a Signed account.
Can I reuse documents I send often?+
Yes. Save any document as a template — NDAs, offers, waivers, order forms — and send it in a couple of clicks instead of rebuilding it each time.
Can I migrate from DocuSign?+
Yes. Upload the same PDFs, rebuild your common documents as templates, and keep working. The send-and-sign flow is intentionally familiar coming from DocuSign.
Can I try sending before I pay?+
Yes. Every free account includes 3 signature requests a month — no card required. When you need more, it's $9.99 a seat/month for unlimited sending, and you can cancel anytime.
Do you offer support?+
